Top Air Travel Apps Performance in South America Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top air travel apps in South America showed varied performance trends on a unified platform, as reported by Sensor Tower.

LATAM: Flights, Hotels, Cars saw significant fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting at approximately 89K downloads in early October, the app experienced a notable spike to around 124K by late November. This was mirrored by an increase in weekly active users, peaking at about 1.9M in the same period.

LATAM Pass exhibited a remarkable rise in downloads, especially in December, with figures reaching a high of 159K. Active users followed a similar uptrend, beginning the quarter at 320K and rising to 465K by the start of December.

Azul maintained steady download numbers throughout the quarter, with a slight increase in late November, reaching about 53K. Active users fluctuated but remained strong, with numbers consistently around 2.7M, showing a minor dip towards the end of the quarter.

GOL | Passagens Aéreas experienced a significant peak in downloads in late November, hitting approximately 57K. Active user numbers saw a similar peak in the same week, reaching over 800K before declining slightly by the end of December.

Lastly, Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker demonstrated a steady increase in both revenue and active users. Weekly revenue peaked at around $14K in early October, while active users saw a sharp rise to over 900K by the end of December.
